These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website Nutri-THREPS (https://www.nutri-threps.com), operated by Anastasia Gkegka, Registered Dietitian.
All bookings for Nutri-THREPS dietetic services are processed securely through Halaxy. By scheduling an appointment, you acknowledge that you will be redirected to Halaxy’s platform, where your data will be handled in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
By using this website and our services, you confirm that you accept these terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using this website immediately.
2. Use of Services
2.1 Nutri-THREPS provides specialist remote dietetic services for eating disorders and disordered eating recovery. Online consultations are designed to support clients in improving their relationship with food, nutritional rehabilitation, and overall well-being.
2.2 While Nutri-THREPS offers expert dietetic interventions for eating disorders, it is important to note that:
- If a client’s condition falls outside the scope of remote dietetic management alone, a referral to another healthcare provider may be recommended.
- Dietetic support alone is not a substitute for full multidisciplinary care.
- As a remote service, Nutri-THREPS cannot provide physical health monitoring (e.g., blood tests, weight checks, or emergency intervention). Clients must have local medical support in place, such as a GP or eating disorder service.
- Clients with severe or high-risk medical or psychological needs may require additional input from a psychiatrist, psychologist, or specialist treatment team.
2.3 All clients must have appropriate medical support in place, such as a GP, therapist, or specialist eating disorder services, where required.
3. Exclusion Criteria for Remote Dietetic Services
The following conditions may result in exclusion from services or a referral to a healthcare provider:
- Client is unable or unwilling to make behavioral changes.
- No psychological support in place for severe eating disorders.
- Dietary change is likely to result in suicidal ideation.
- Red flag criteria according to MEED guidance (CR233), including:
- BMI < 13 (for adults 18+) or mBMI < 70% (for under 18s).
- Weight loss >1kg per week for two consecutive weeks.
- Heart rate <40 BPM.
- Severe blood pressure instability, including standing systolic BP below the 0.4th centile or less than 90 if aged 18+.
If any of these apply, Nutri-THREPS will not be able to provide services and will recommend that you seek appropriate medical support.
4. Privacy & Data Protection
4.1 By booking an appointment, you consent to the collection and processing of personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR).
4.2 We may collect and process your data for the following purposes:
- Managing appointments and sending reminders.
- Communicating service updates and marketing (with your consent).
- Sharing relevant information with your GP or healthcare providers, when necessary.
4.3 All booking and client information is managed securely through Halaxy, our third-party booking system. For details on how Halaxy handles data, please refer to their Privacy Policy.
4.4 We do not sell, distribute, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Payment & Cancellation Policy
- 5.1 Payment Terms
- By booking an appointment, you agree to pay the full session fee unless canceled according to our policy.
- Invoices must be paid on time to avoid disruption to services.
- 5.2 Missed Appointments & Cancellations
A missed appointment includes:
- Not attending without prior notice.
- Arriving more than 15 minutes late.
- Canceling with less than 48 hours’ notice.
Refunds are not guaranteed except under exceptional circumstances.
6. Liability Disclaimer
6.1 Nutri-THREPS provides evidence-based dietary guidance but is not responsible for individual health outcomes resulting from dietary recommendations.
6.2 Our services do not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions.
6.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nutri-THREPS is not liable for:
- Any indirect or consequential loss, including financial loss, data loss, or reputational damage.
- Any loss due to reliance on website content.
- Any third-party service interruptions, including Halaxy.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or negligence where it is unlawful to do so.
7. Client Conduct
7.1 Clients under the age of 15 must have parental/guardian consent to use our services.
7.2 Abuse or slander towards any Nutri-THREPS professional will not be tolerated.
7.3 If you are dissatisfied with the service, you must contact us directly to resolve concerns before posting public reviews or complaints.
7.4 Nutri-THREPS reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services without refund if a client breaches these terms or engages in inappropriate conduct.
8. Risk Assessment & Discharge
8.1 Clients are assessed for risk at each consultation.
8.2 If risks escalate and meet exclusion criteria, Nutri-THREPS will discontinue services and refer the client to local care providers.
9. Website Security & Acceptable Use
9.1 You must not:
- Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code to the website.
- Attempt unauthorized access to our website or connected systems.
- Use this website for fraudulent or illegal activities.
9.2 Breaching this clause may result in legal action and immediate restriction of access.
